Evolution or Creation

The evolution theory versus creation belief. Both opinions require faith; one requires faith in chance, the other requires faith in God. The new theory is a blend of creation and evolution, which, to me, is the most scary. I believe in God, and I believe he made us in his own image. I also believe he sent Jesus to sacrifice for our sins on the cross, which is sufficient to save us from this sinful world. I also believe he will return to take us home. So now the question is, how long will it be before he stops the death, suffering and evil going on in this world? If it took him billions of years to let us create ourselves through evolution’s theory of survival of the fittest, then how long will it take him to return, or will he? And, how can we believe in the same Bible that we discredit?

From a creationist stand point there are many confusing things about blending the theory with the belief of creation. The first one that I find the most difficult to understand is discrediting the Bible, the Bible which is Gods word to us is consistent through out its entirety. The discrepancies are man made or misinterpretations. How did God make us in his image if we evolved from nothing? This is very important throughout the whole Bible, it includes our salvation, the power and love of our creator are all manifested on man being created by God’s own hands.
